Miss Hokusai is a Japanese historical manga series written and illustrated by Hinako Sugiura, telling the story of Katsushika Ōi who worked in the shadow of her father Hokusai. Keiichi Hara has directed an anime adaptation in collaboration with Japanese powerhouse Production I.G (creators of Ghost in the Shell).
