About Might Mice

Their first short film ‘Potapych: The Bear Who Loved Vodka’ scooped a BAFTA for ‘Best Animation’. The studio has gone on to win many awards in advertising and broadcast including best 2D Animation Design for their SBS Idents at the Promax/BDA Awards 2009 and multiple Promax awards for the work on Foxtel’s Embarrassing Bodys downunder in 2014.

One of Nexus’ most awarded films is the Nike Foundation’s “The Girl Effect” for Wieden+Kennedy. Winning a BAF award, Mighty Nice gained further recognition when it was included in TEDtalks’ Ten ads Worth Spreading.

Other members of the Mighty Nice team have also seen great success recently with Alex Grigg’s short film “The Phantom Limb” accepted into Sundance 2014, and Robertino Zambrano’s short “Love in the time of March Madness” winning best short at Tribeca, and part of the Official Selection at Annecy 2015.

Continuing to pull together quality work for global and local brands, Mighty Nice is currently in production on two animation series with BBC, Netflix, Channel 7 and the ABC Australia.
