Blender Realtime Development Test: Tree Creature

Daniel Bystedt presents some testing of the upcoming Eevee viewport for Blender 2.8, which is currently in development. The sequence was rendered in Blender 2.8’s new realtime viewport EEVEE. Comp was done in Blender 2.79

The tree creature was rigged and animated in Blender 2.79 with the addons rigify and jiggle armature. After that I just brought it into blender 2.8 and it works fine as long as the control shapes of the rig are extruded meshes, otherwise they are not visible in the viewport. In this test I’m both using a rig with baked animation, but also a keyframe rig. The animation is a looped sequence of 10 seconds, rendered with 4 different cameras. Totally 1000 frames was rendered.
