Wildheart Artworks

Animation : Keytales

Six-year-old orphan Kenta and his ten-year-old friend Makoto team up to search for Kenta’s mother, but their journey tests their extraordinary bond when they discover that the reunion may come at a cost.

Wildheart takes you back to a fictional world inspired by the 60s, an era of innovation. Picture the first Tokyo Olympics, Japan’s pioneering bullet train, the introduction of color TVs, and a world of new toys. At the core of Wildheart is the theme of ‘family’ during this era of transformation. The 60s redefined family ties against a backdrop of societal shifts. Wildheart story captures the essence of these changes, offering a more subdued yet meaningful reflection on the decade.

Wildheart marks the beginning of an endeavor aimed at crafting a full-length film. However, our journey commences with a series of short films. Each of these films serves as a fundamental building block, contributing to a larger, cohesive narrative

Keytales is a short movie directed by Marceau Nakayama from Keytales Studio
