It’s Art & Trojan Horse was a Unicorn CG Challenge – A Song of Ice and Fire Fan Art
From August 1st to September 8th, IT’S ART and Trojan Horse was a Unicorn (THU) will start a new CG Challenge inspired by George R.R. Martin series ” A Song of Fire and Ice”. Marc Simonetti, the illustrator of the french version of the books, edited by ‘J’ai Lu’ will be the jury of the competition.
The best 15 artworks will be printed and exposed at the Trojan Horse was a Unicorn Festival that will be held between 18-21 in Troia, Portugal. It’s a great opportunity for all the participants to have their work showcased in front of some of the best CG companies and artists from all over the world ( Industrial Light & Magic, Pixar, Framestore, Sony Imageworks, Massive Black, Crytek, Ubisoft, Blizzard, Platige … ).
The 3 best entries will win a ticket for the Festival and Tokkun Academy DVDs
Marc Simonetti will choose with IT’S ART and the THU team the best 15 final submissions that will be presented during the festival. A slideshow of the best entries will also be showed at the big screen during the festival ?
Additionaly, during all the competition, some Work in Progress entries will be picked to be showed on IT’S ART Facebook Fan Page and THU Facebook page.

How to Enter :
– Although we don’t ask for a HD resolution image during the challenge, please keep in mind that your final picture can be printed, so you must have a final picture in 300DPI with a minimum of A4 dimension ( horizontal or vertical )
– Any kind of art and technique is acceptable (2D or 3D) as long as it’s a digital work.
– You must post at least 5 Work In Progress entries in the dedicated challenge forum on IT’S ART
– WIP must be posted in .jpg format
– The Final picture SD must be posted in the CG Gallery in the “A song of Fire and Ice Fan Challenge” category in a .jpg format in a max resolution of 2000px x 2000px / 1Mb
– We don’t request any exclusivity or right for your picture and you can post it in any other place. We just request, if you can, to add a reference to IT’S ART and the Trojan Horse was a Unicorn Festival in your description when you post it.
