The Art of Bram Sels

Bram grew up on 90s comics, cartoons, and cinema. Bitten by the creative bug in primary school, he was always visualizing stories, drawing his wits, and creating his versions of Magic: The Gathering playing cards. His lifelong passion became his craft and, in due course, he landed roles as a visual development artist for Animal Logic, ReelFX, The Neuland, Psyop, and Ubisoft, an illustrator for MTG publisher Wizards of the Coast, and now, an art director for Axis Studios.

At Axis, Bram leads a project’s aesthetic from start to finish. He helps to develop its visual language and identity, guiding the design of everything from environments to characters to color scripts. Working closely with design, assets, and LRC, he aims to deliver high-quality projects that dazzle on the final screen.
